Holiday fever storms in

Emmi Burke

Now that November is over it is
time for the Holiday spirit to enter
our community.
Christmas season has long since
begun, and rightly so. Stores have
been stocking up on their presents
and kids have been adding to their
wish lists.
Trees, wreaths, reindeer and
Santa’s have been popping up around
town and creating an air of holiday
joy that lasts throughout the month
of December.
Carolers are coming door to door
singing joyful songs of the season
whether you like it or not
Junior Sam Truitt has been overloaded
with Christmas spirit since
the beginning. On November 1st, he
drove all the way up to Maryland to
aid his aunt with the decorating of
her house with 18 Christmas trees.
“Of course I’ve started decorating…
It’s November,” Truitt said. To
him, Christmas begins when Halloween
ends.
With the rest of the town setting
up for the Christmas holidays, the
radio stations are joining in too.
Since Novermeber 1st all you know
is that santa is coming to town so
you better watch out.
