Spring Fling Comes to a Close

Chandler Foster

At the beginning of the month,
Hanover hosted the Senior Community
Carnival in support of graduate
Heather James. There were
many activities that took place,
from a dunk-tank to a bouncehouse.
Though all the booths were
staffed by seniors, there were many
students of all classes in attendance,
both working and enjoying the day.
One of the clubs in attendance
was the French Club, there to put
on a bake sale. They baked over a
hundred cookies in preparation for
the events, and had many volunteers
to help out.
Another attending club was
the robotics team, there to showcase
the robot that they built this
year. The, robot, which picks up
and throws a large ball, exhibited
its ability to dunk teachers into the
tank.
There were also many generic
activities, like cornhole, ringa-
bottle, a bounce-house, and
even an inflatable race to tumble
through. Volunteers out in hours
of work as visitors came and went.
Many people came for the Drive 4
Your School event after the 5K.
